Before the invention of binoculars, telescopes were used. Actually binoculars are two small telescopes, which allow the user to see with both eyes. Some other great uses of binoculars are for hunting and all outdoor nature activities. People now use binoculars at the opera instead of those old fashioned opera glasses. Binoculars are useful for the theater, concerts and also for golfing.
