Navy White
The royal navy forces are originally built-up for defense purposes. These forces are equipped with advanced ships, submarines, naval air craft as well as choppers. Royal Navy Officers are some of the well-respected personals who serve our country. Superior benefits and excellent credentials are few of the benefits which are offered to a Royal Navy Officer. The color of Royal Navy Officer’s uniform is usually white with a dark shade of blue. If anyone is a graduate and possesses leadership skills and determination, he or she may be eligible to become a navy officer. Royal Navy Officers are responsible for managing and leading operations that may be undertaken on ships, submarines, naval air stations, aircraft and sea shores. Their particular role may include duties such as commanding a warship in the Atlantic, flying a Lynx helicopter, supervising the safe operation of a submarine nuclear propulsion plant or providing medical care. Official specialists include warfare, aviation, diving, supplying and even training management.
Qualification:
From the above mentioned duties it can be assessed that the job of a Royal Navy Officer is very challenging and requires nerves of steel. These officers have incomparable discipline and courage. One can join Royal Navy at the age of 17. The minimum height for entry is 151.5 and the weight must be proportional to the height. Strict eyesight standard is also taken into consideration. To join the Royal Navy the following minimum educational qualification is required to be met:

Two A level grades.
2.
Three GCSE grades (A-C).
3.
English language and math’s are compulsory subjects.
If the candidate meets all the above minimum requirements then they must pass a recruitment test, which involves an aptitude test, personal interview, gym test and a practical initiative test.
Training:
Training of Royal Navy Officer depends on the post a person intends to take on. Majority of recruits are taken to combat-ready or active warships for 6 months. Students are also given specialized training depending on the batch they have been chosen. During the training students are taught how to use latest gadgets, arms ammunitions and defense techniques. They are also taught to rescue people from difficult situations.
Work:
The overall aim of the Royal Navy and the Royal Navy Officer is to protect the country, monitor international waters, counter-terrorism, stop illegal trading of goods and also to help police providing information to such crimes. Their job is also to provide protection to marine ships and cargo ports. They play active role in times of natural disaster by undertaking activities such as rescuing people during floods. There are different types of Navy Officers and as a requirement one must specialize in that particular field, for example, Warfare Officer, Air Traffic Controller and Training Officer.
A navy officer can easily be distinguished from a normal man by his posture, his status in the society and many more abilities which are rare in others. Navy officers take great pride in their work they do. As the saying goes, "once a navy officer always a navy officer". This reflects the length of time that Royal Navy Officer will serve and shows how navy officers are proud to wear their uniforms and fight for their country.
